Creating Authentic, Biblical and Connected groups

Our groups are…

  • We want groups that allow people to come as they are; we are all sinners in need of a Saviour, there’s no need to have it all together or to feel like you need to put on a front, instead we invite authenticity and vulnerability. 

  • At the foundation of all that we do is the desire to live out our faith Biblically. Our heart, mind and actions being shaped and formed by the truth of God’s word. 

  • We are designed to live in relationship with others. Learning, growing, encouraging and challenging those around us. We seek to see every person feel connected in the Body of Christ.

    Who: Seniors
    When: Fridays, 9.30am
    Where: Burpengary

    We are a group of older adults seeking to know each other better, and to grow in our faith through sharing, praying and studying God's word. Meetings begin with morning tea.

    New to church, new to Brisbane or just in-between seasons? Our group is a warm, welcoming space to grow in faith, build real relationships and find belonging.

    Come as you are as we reflect on Sunday’s message, share life and encourage one another.

    We are a group of mature ladies, who enjoy studying the Bible together, learning  from each other and supporting each other in prayer.

    When: Thursdays, 7pm

    Our group is a mixed group of men and women, all who have children above 16. We tend to focus on deep diving into scripture in the hope of developing a greater understanding of His Word and fostering a deeper relationship with Jesus. We enjoy praying for each other and developing deeper friendships.

    Who: Retired women with a focus on women with chronic illness
    When: Wednesdays, 9.30am
    Where: Burpengary East and online

    We are a group of ladies who are hungering and thirsting for God’s word and are supportive and encouraging towards those journeying through life with chronic illnesses.

    We are a group of young people at heart. We love camping, good food, laughter and journeying together through life with God at the centre. They say it takes a village to raise a child, well it takes a village to provide a sense of belonging, support, social connections, personal growth and inclusion.

    We’re designed to do life in community. This connect group exists to help women grow in their walk with Jesus while building relationships that encourage, challenge, and support one another.

    We’re a young family who’ve been part of Axis for some time and are excited to open our home for weekly gatherings. Our group is a family-friendly space for Bible study, meaningful conversation, and genuine fellowship as we grow in faith together.

    Our desire is for young adults to grow deep, personal, passionate relationships with God, encouraging one another and increasing our knowledge of Him.

    Our group is time of fellowship for young Christians seeking deeper love for God and to live their life in a way that brings Him glory, honour, and praise.

    Who: Millenial singles and couples without kids
    When: Sundays monthly, 1pm
    Where: North Lakes

    Life’s better together! Our group is for adults aged 30+ (singles or couples) who want to do faith and friendship in a relaxed, meaningful way. Come be part of something life-giving with worship, prayer, laughter, coffee, and connection at the heart of it all.

    We are passionate about seeing young people grow in love and faith towards Jesus towards through the word of God, fellowship and prayer.

    I have been a part of Axis for more than four years and enjoy the biblical-based approach and community spirit. As a high-school teacher I have a hectic work life and therefore enjoy relaxing on weekends with family and friends. I host a group in North Lakes and look forward to welcoming others as they are led, to connect and grow in Christ.

    Tuesdays fortnightly, 6.30am @ North Lakes
    In the busyness of life, it's important to stay connected and find time to talk about faith and life. The aim of this group is to make this connection accessible by catching up before work starts. 

    Wednesdays fortnightly, 6.30pm @ Morayfield
    This group exists to help men and dads grow closer to Jesus while finding brotherhood, accountability, and encouragement for everyday life.

    Who: Fly-in fly-out (FIFO) workers
    When: Tuesdays, 8pm
    Where: Online

    Whether you do shift work, are FIFO or generally travel lots and attending church irregularly, we hope this online community will be a space to keep connected.

    We look forward to sharing about Jesus and getting to know each other through topic-based chat groups, announcements & events.
